SCGG has been named as regional winners of the Green Heroes Award by TCV in the Community Group section. Paul Forrest-Jameson from TCV Reading office came to our December session at Aston Rowant Nature Reserve to present us with our certificate. Among the reasons TCV chose us for the award are: we have kept going with 2 sessions a week for 15 years now; we cover a large number of sites and activities; we attract new members and a growing attendance per session; and we make a real difference to the sites on which we work. They didn’t need to mention that we also have a lot of fun!
