At our previous sessions here we’ve cleared a sizeable area to the right of the foot path, which has produced a fine display of bluebells and is now covered in low brambles. These will produce flowers and fruit, valuable food for wildlife.
Today we moved along the path a little way and started clearing fallen wood, holly, bracken and bramble, in a sunny space in the tree canopy which has had fantastic bluebells. The large pile of cut holly left over from the last session was burned on the bonfire.
