As usual at Cleeve Water Meadow there were several tasks awaiting us on 24th October. A small team put up a bridge over the central ditch to improve access to one edge of the meadow while others fed a bonfire with the brash from two large felled trees. The reeds on half the meadow had been already mown, so we raked these into piles ready for a future bonfire.
