A select group of us showed up on the morning after heavy thunderstorms. On this warm and humid morning we attacked the holly in Parson’s wood. In a few groups we worked and felt as many holly as possible, resulting in some impressive piles of branches. Some had to deal with complex root systems to remove trees.
The results of this day are more light into the woods which should encourage plants like bluebells. The photos below show the before and after.
