We held two consecutive sessions at Parson’s Wood this week in order to remove some of the many piles of holly we had cut in previous sessions. Heavy rain on Thursday did not impede the lighting of the bonfire – see method in the photo. On Saturday we had two bonfires and cleared a large section of the wood by the footpath. Bluebell shoots are already poking through the woodland floor.
