Today we worked in Green Broom Wood and continued to clear areas of fallen branches, brambles and bracken. Some coppicing of hazel is also performed. The session included a bonfire, cleaning up a lot of the previously gathered material. The areas begin to show signs of our interference, in a good way. Open spaces develop and hazel is set to create new growth for coming years.
