Boxing Day session
Eight Green Gymmers turned up at Flowercroft Wood on Boxing Day morning to work off the effects of turkey and Christmas pud. We worked on an open grassy slope which this summer was alive with 14 different types of butterfly. We have cleared scrub here in the past, so on Boxing Day we tackled the areas where the scrub had put out regrowth. By the end of the morning we had transformed a large section of the bank, ready for more flowers and butterflies in the coming spring.
