Spring Wood

Bluebell shoots in evidence again at today’s session in Spring Wood, now in areas where our cutting down of thick holly growth over the years has brought in more light to the woodland floor. The holly stumps have re-sprouted so our task today was to lop their new growth and slash back young brambles where the bluebells are poking through. Double rations of apple pancakes at tea break – we are spoilt.
