We had been asked by the National Trust and Oxon County Council to create a new footpath near the cricket green in Rotherfield Greys. The new path joins two existing public footpaths through woodland so that walkers no longer need to walk on a busy road. At our first visit we cleared trees and shrub to make an obvious passage, and at our second recent visit we improved the course of the path, laying logs along the sides, and removed protruding stumps.
