This mixed wood in Sonning Common is now owned by the Woodland Trust and is popular with walkers.  Many of the paths and bridleways became overgrown under previous ownership, so SCGG has been working since 2023 to widen the footway by clearing back holly and bramble.

Meeting point

Usually through the entrance gate opposite Bishopswood Sports Ground, Gallowstree Road.  Some parking on the hard standing through two gates, otherwise on the verge outside or in the Sports Ground car park.  Other meeting places notified in advance by email.
