Site: River and Rowing Museum

The River and Rowing Museum was opened in 1998 as an educational charity

to celebrate the River, the international sport of rowing and the town

of Henley on Thames. The museum has since included the “Wind in the

Willows” exhibition and the John Piper gallery.

The museum is certified with the Quality badge for Learning Outside The

Classroom and gives schools the chance to take part in hands on

curriculum lead experiences.

The Green Gym assists in maintenance of paths and exhibits around the

museum.

Meeting Place

We meet in the River and Rowing Car Park (for which there is no charge)
